Homeowner FAQs

 1. How long is it going to take?

If the home is cleaned and ready to go, we can be in and out in 45 minutes to an hour. Vacant houses can take as little as 30 minutes.

 2. Do I need to be there?

You don’t necessarily need to be there! Please stick around if you have difficult dogs or pets.

 3. Is the camera going to see that?

Nine times out of ten, the camera will see “that”. If you can see if with your eyes, the camera will see it…forever.

 4. What can I do to help?

You can help make this process easier for everyone involved by checking out our checklist below! These things should be done before we arrive. There are typically appointments after you, so keeping those times depends on you too!

 5. Will I get to see the photos?

You will definitely get to see the photos. We deliver the photos to your realtor (typically same day). From there, you guys decide on which photos to post on MLS and social platforms.

 6. Do you have to take a picture of certain areas?

We don’t have to take pictures of all areas. Secondary closets and typical garages are not necessary, so if you want to hide things in those spaces, have at it!

 7. Should I move this piece of furniture over here?

Arrangement of furniture should be discussed well before the photographer arrives. This can be done by a stager or your realtor.

 8. Can you photoshop that?

We can photoshop…to an extent. We can add a blue sky on a cloudy day, and we can green the grass during winter and fall seasons. What we can’t do is photoshop out a crack in the wall, or a stain on the carpet. This presents a false representation of the home.

 9. Should I remove personal photos

Removing personal photos / items is up to you.
